Springfield stock

Is there anyone who can help me identify the following stock for either an '03 or a variant ?

This is a C stock with the cartouche D.A.L. Just before the rear swivel it has a stamped 7 digit number. The side opposite the bolt seems to have a cut out (possibly for a scope). The bolt inlet is deeper than standard.

I am wondering if I have the stock for a WWII Marine Sniper rifle. Also if it has any value. Thanks

03 stock

a notch on left side should be the bolt release.the deep cut may be for bolt handle.I had to cut a deep notch for the bolt I had.
when are you going to escape Mass I did in 2000.I belong to hopedale p&r club and GOAL.

Thanks Teddy. Never. I belong to Braintree rifle & pistol. The noth is longer than the bolt/magazine selector. According to one site the DAL indicates a sniper- see "marine Sniper.
