Springfield Range Officer or SR1911?

Looking at a new 1911, I like that the Ruger SR1911 seems like a lot of gun for the money, stainless, lots of features, especially the sights.
I think the Range Officer is a lot of gun for the money too, and with adjustable sights
So, does anybody have an idea I haven't thought of yet? I need some help figuring out which one I might want.

I have yet to find a negative review of the SR1911...
Or the Range Officer for that matter.

A telling point is the fact that Hickock45, of YouTube fame, actually ended up purchasing the test gun Ruger sent him... he liked it that much. The guy gets to shoot everything under the sun, and the fact he decided to lay out his own cash on that one makes me raise an eyebrow.

As much as I love my Range Officer- I would not recommend it if there's a chance you might be inclined to use it for EDC. Those aren't simply adjustable sights- they're quite LARGE adjustable sights intended for range and competition use. Will it work for EDC? Sure, but I would think that large rear sight sticking in your gut would get old quick. I much more prefer my Sig 239 or SA Mil Spec for EDC comfort.

I can't speak to the Ruger 1911. Haven't shot one, haven't even seen one. I would like to shoot one for myself at some point.
I can however tell you, the SA range officer I own is my favorite 1911 I own. It's accuracy would rival 1911's costing twice the price.
