Springfield OD Green 1911

Was at the gunshop today and this piece really caught my eye. It's the Springfield loaded 1911a1 in the OD Green finish. It's the first one I've seen and I really like it...something different other than stainless, blue, or park. Just wanted your opinions on this model. I wanted to handle it, but the store was crowded and my lunch break was coming to an end so maybe next time. Is this model identical to the other loaded models other than the finish and grip? The sales person said the it was a green parkerization? Should I just save the extra money and get a blued version instead?
 
That's what Springfield calls their "Armory Kote", which is their version of a polymer + teflon coating. Comes in various colors.
