Springfield M1A Accessory Questions

Hi All,

I just recently struck a deal for a SA M1a Loaded Rifle, Model MA9826.

I'm looking for information, from learned persons, on what the best Scope Mount and Brand of 20 or 30 Round Magazines they would recommend.

Armalite was selling USGI 20 round mags for $25 awhile back. I dont know who makes 30 rounders, or if I'd really trust them. I've had good luck with the GI and the T57's from Taiwan

Personally, I'd skip the scope, but thats just me.

I'm not a fan of a scope on my M1A either. XS Sight Systems makes a really good ghost ring set for the M1A - the front sight has a white stripe as do all their front sights I've installed but, this one is also a night sight - although the need for a night sight on a M1A isn't clear to me. .
