I got as new v10 compact today. Just wondering if any of you have shot , carried this weapon and what your impressions were. Also what holsters to fit it. Not sure where the best holster is to be had.

Thanks in advance for the help

Sgt., I can't help you out on the V10, But I do own the Springfield V12. I do believe the gun was worth the money spent and IMHO it is a pleasure to shoot. I've had no problems with it. As far as carry, I don't carry this particular handgun or any other full size 45, To big for me to carry and conceal. If I were to carry it I have an open belt slide for another 45 that I would try first ;)

FWIW :)

Congrats on the new V10, I hope it serves you well, Happy Shooting ;)

Just got the v-10 home.......heres a pic...(no laughing, I am still not real good at this whole picture thing) Taking it to the range soon enough, will post range report upon my return. By the way the fit, finish and ergonomics on this gun are fantastic

My wife has one and loves it. She uses a Coronado Leather "Aspen Bucket" purse, and a lady's DOJ from Heinie. Hope that helps. ;)

I have one, and love it.

Before & After pics.

I've customized it slightly: Recontoured frontstrap and dust cover, Navidrex contoured CCW grips in grained ebonywood, Wilson stainless hex-head grip screws, Novak sights, STI trigger, Ed Brown flat checkered stainless MSH, Wilson stainless "memory lump" beavertail GS, ramped and throated, heavier recoil spring.

It's a really nice pistol; quite accurate and functions fine with +P ammo, exhibiting almost zero muzzle-flip.

Tamara,
Did you have these mods done out of a real need or because you have an onsite smith and wanted them done?
Also where do I get those grips and screws.........those are too sweet..........thanx

Bill
