Guys
I just located and picked an early Springfield Armory TRP Tactical for a song. It is one of the early ones that were released with novak sights without tritium. The gun is in excellent shape and does not appear to have been fired much.
My plans are to shoot the s--t out of it and when funds allow to ship it to a custom smith for the works. The only problem i have noticed is that the rear sight is too far to the right and will have to be centered for me. My question is has anyone on this forum have any experience with this model good or bad. This is my first Springfield as my other 1911's are customized Kimbers and a Wilson CQB.
Any info would be great.
