Springfield Armory M6 Scout

I just bought one of these with the parkerized finish in 22/410. Anyone have any experience with these things? The trigger is terrible. Has anyone had one of these triggers successfully reworked?

Your not going to get any better of a trigger out of that Scout... But it is still a decent little rifle for what it is.

I am thinking of getting 4 of them for my sons for when they grow up a bit... Oldest is not yet 6 years old - but one can never think too far ahead!

I have 2 of the original M6's in 22LR/410 and just got a .22 Hornet/410 version. The lockwork on these are very simple and I am sure they could be cleaned up. I don't bother, I just shoot them enough to get used to it.

I bought mine b/c some antigunner pissed me off and had to buy a gun in his presence to assuage the anger (deep breath, deep breath, deep breath). Never bothered firing it.
