Some time ago, I posted a message asking for opinions on the SA 1911a1 9mm Loaded. Well, I got it.
It's a Government size pistol. It has been stroked a little. It's had had a trigger job to a measured 2.2 lbs, ( I saw it measured), crowned barrel, high polish feed ramp, etc. $649.00. I shot it for the first time today.
What a phenomenal shooter! Far and away the most accurate pistol I now own. This thing just points right. Much better than my BHP, believe it or not. The light trigger is great! The size and weight soak up the recoil like nothing I've felt before. And, it gets it's share of oohs and aahs too, because it's a good looking gun.
