Hey all new here but looking for a custom wood stock for my springfield 30-06 been surfing the web and thought that maybe someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. Thank you

Try Boyd's or Stocky's.

Years ago , it was EC Bishops or Rinehardt Fajen.

You have to be more specific as to what you have in order to get good advise. The 30-06 Springfield is both a caliber (available in a huge number of brands and models) and is also the description for the original mass chambering of that caliber - the US military's 1903 and 1903A3 models. Can you narrow down your needs a little.

Too bad Fajen didn't stick around. I built a rifle on one of those and you should have seen that hunk of walnut.

has your gun been previously sporterized? what barrel do you have on it?

they're mostly shotgun but do have some rifle stock.

If it is a 1903 or 1903A3, you might look to CMP (www.odcmp.com) for a new walnut version of the original stock.
