Mike, just a big drop off in forum problems with these popular models now, that's all. Thanks,Skeets :D

Whenever new models come out... The comparisons and stories come out again. So you get a rash of "this model Pistol sucks" posts.

The novelty is wearing off on the new g43, so things are settling down.

I'm buying the beer and pop-corn for the release of the new Beretta APX. And later the Strike One, if it really gets into production and importation into the US of A.

There's bound to be lots of forum weeping going on over those new guns.

And sometime there will be the 2nd Gen Remington R51s. Maybe. Someday. In theory. Talk about pre-planned scrutiny. I predict those will cause long forum threads unless they approach an inhumanly high level of perfection.

So don't worry, this is only the August doldrums and soon our internet life will get more exciting.

You forgot to mention the replacements, and reintroducton of the Remington R 51 coming in the Spring of 2015.....ah I mean Summer of 2015......ah I mean maybe Fall of 2015.:D

There are times I feel an arm/gun is ugly but I say/post nothing. While it may receive a few praise for looks the thread seems kinda short. I wonder if a slew of others are holding back as I.

For the longest time I've found it very ironic that the best combat pistols ever were created prior to CAD/CAM, CNC, etc. The 1911, BHP, Beretta 92, CZ75...just to name a few.

I think the topic is government code for "Beware of post-81 DIAS's posing as pre-81 DIAS's".

Well, that's my guess and I'm sticking with it!

There are recurring subjects though. Kel-Tec threads are about the same as they have been for years.
When Ruger came out with thier versions of the same guns, there were problems to. But apparently Ruger fixed them in production. I don't see nearly as many of the same threads about the Ruger line.
