Sporting Clays Gurus- Advice on Equipment Choice

I have a line on a 28" Barrel for my Bennelli M1S90, with 5 choke tubes.

If it matters, I am 6" and about {ahem} 220.

Would this be an acceptable choice for clays and other games. I don't mean would an Olympic champion turn up his nose at the choice, I mean would it be OK for occasional use?

BTW, I shot a round with the 18" cylander bore barrel and rifle sights and got a 21, but I couldn't reach out very far for the "ducks." Now the "rabbits," they feared me!
 
Should do well, if you hold up your end.

Once again, any practice with a shotgun improves proficiency, for "Serious" shooting even trap and skeet can help with familiarization and "grooving in".

Until that long bbl shows up, use the shorter one and have a blast(pun intended)...
