Limbsaver, Kick-EEZ or Pachmayr. Your preferred pad and why!?! Looking for a replacement for my newly acquired 20 gauge Citori. Thanks...

I like this one from the Kick-eez line

As to the why,not really sure:confused: Packmayr's are 2nd and to me the Limbsavers are too sticky.

I'm thinking the same thing Hopper. I had a Kick-EEZ installed on a 12 gauge skeet gun and it felt really good...

Be a man Slugo. You don't need no damn butt pad. Have you considered a pgo?

Actually my Remington has a great after market recoil taming pad that I believe ,was actually manufactured by Kick-EZZ for Remington.

I've installed a couple of hundred recoil pads, and prefer the Pachmayer Sporting Clays. Not a bad idea for centerfire rifles either.

The Limbsavers here may be slightly better than the KickEez or the Decellerators, but the difference is small.

I said the Remington SuperCell is made by Kick Eez. It may be Limbsaver. Anyway, if one fits Slugo may not want a pad saying Remington on his latest Citori.

The factors to look for in a sporting pad, especially if FITASC is in the mix where low-gun is mandated - is the angled top of the pad and it needs an initial smooth surface at the top to prevent sticking as you mount

Any of the major brands works well

I have both Pachmayr and Kick-eez - can't tell the difference

Just dropped the gun off...

the smith is installing a nice brown color Pachmayr sporting clays pad. Same one as on my 20 bore SKB... :)
