Sporterized milsurp sighting options

So I have finished my shorty Mauser project and it loks great. I was planing to use a scout mounted 4x pistol scope. After mounting the forward mount, I just didnt like it. I think I want to go with iron sights. I have already spent too much time and money so I want to keep the price as low as possible. The XS ghost ring setup would be perfect, but at $120 plus gunsmith instilation are too pricy. Can anyone stear me toward a more cost effective alternative? Thanks
 
Williams reciever sight. The low end model is about 40 bucks last I checked. Just use a large disk to get that "ghost ring" effect.

mauser sights/mojo sights

I put a Mojo rear sight on my German 98k and my groups went from 4"-6" @
100 yards to 2"-3" with my own handloads. 50 year old eyes, and I have never shot surplus ammo in any of my mausers. best $70 bucks I ever spent.

My eyes got so bad I was having trouble with the front post. Mojo has a aperture for the front sight now. I tried out the dual aperture setup and it really does work out well.
