spikes dedicated 22 upper????

thinking of buying a pristine, used spikes upper for cheapo practice. unit mirrors my present ar config. seller wants 500 with a couple of mags. i understand that spikes no longer catalogs this item and that it is one of the better units available. would like your comments.

I love mine. I like the fact that the barrel is dedicated to the caliber and twist rate for .22LR as opposed to one originally designed for the 5.56mm round.

Mine is very reliable with good quality (i.e., not bulk) .22LR, like CCI minimags. I get a few FTF's every once in awhile, but that's due to the not-so-great 30-round magazines, not the upper.
