Speer Lawman

Shot these in my P-99 .40 this week. Also shot CCI and Rem GS. The Lawman brass ejected say 15 feet as opposed to 10 with Blazer and 2 inches with the golden sabers.

There was a much more pronounced snap with the Lawman. Am I imagining things here, or is the LM a hotter round.

Were you shooting the same load in both? I have shot the 165 gr. Lawman and Blazers side by side and noticed no difference, but the 180 gr. sometimes seem hotter and sometimes milder.(I think the 180s have greater pressure variations.)

Same load. 180 gr.

I personally- because my gun does- like PMC 180 gr.

Thanks for the input. I bought two boxes CCI and Speer. Loaded up alternating in the clip. The Walther is rumored to have feeding problems, so I mix ammo regularly to see if it stops on any brand routinely. Liberty causes hiccups, but everything else is fine. I have not had a misfeed in a loooong time. While doing point shoot though, the gun would just FIRE! and I mean hard. Each time it was a speer load.

230 gr FMJ Speer Lawman is my .45acp range round of choice these days. Good, clean ammo.

I have shot it in .45ACP. It is good ammo. It does seem to have more snap than PMC, at least it feels that way to me.

I've used the Lawman ammo in .45 for point-shooting practice. No problems, and it doesn't seem to have any more or less kick than American Eagle. For whatever reason, though, it shoots a little lower.

I just shot some Speer Lawman in 9mm, no problems. Seems to shoot well for me and this isn't the first time I've used it. Also have shot the .40 and .45
