Special Addition Beretta!??

I was in the local gunshop yesterday for cleaning supplies, and saw a special addition 92FS. It had an American flag on the slide right below the front sight, the phrase "United We Stand" printed on the slide, and "1 of 2001" printed on the slide just behind the safety lever. United We Stand was printed right where the extracter would be if it was on the other side. Price on it was $580! :eek: Thats a large price jump for a printing job!

I also talked to the owner, and he said that only 2001 of these guns will be made, thats what it stands for on the gun. And no, it was not the first one made, they all had 1 0f 2001 printed on them. I saw the others after I asked...

Has anyone seen these yet? I live in the sticks, so if you have already heard about this, just let me know. I wonder if any of the profit will go to a charity....


I also ordered an Uncle Mikes Pro 3 tactical holster for my 96. It goes for $100 bucks on the company website, I'm geting it for $50! This guy treats people pretty good! I have never, ever, heard a single complaint from anyone about him. We need more like him out there! ;)

The UWS series have been out for a few weeks now. I understand that list price is supposed to be the same as standard and yes some of the proceeds are going to charity.
 
A Special Edition Beretta for $580.00 sounds reasonable, but if the gun is for shooting, there's no reason to pay the 80.00 premium when an normal one is significantly less.

As long as some of the money goes to a charity, I don't have a problem. IF they had been just charging more just to make more, then I would have a problem. It seems odd to have that printed on a gun, but some how, strangly appropriate! :D Now if only thet came with pre-ban mags!.....

Look at the right side of the frame! No warning!
Anyone buy the Billinium all stainless,including frame?

I saw one about a month ago.

Not sure on the price but I think it was about $40 more than a standard Beretta that was in the case. Not a fan anyway so I wasn`t interested.
 
I was not sure if a plug was OK.. Its called Bill's Guns and it is on highway 29 near Gretna Va. Very small town..... Only one stop light, and 2 cops! No joke! Of course it is run by a guy named Bill....

The dumbest thing I ever saw was a warning on a gun! Well no Sxxt Sherlock.....:rolleyes: I have on on mine now, but can't take it off.....
