Spec for Maverick buttstock bolt

I have a Maverick 88 pistol grip that I am replacing with an ATI pistol grip/buttstock.

Unfortunately, I bought this shotgun used and I don't think it has the original buttstock bolt, it doesn't seem long enough and it is not slotted.

Does anyone have the specs for the proper length of the bolt? Too bad ATI didn't provide a new bolt with their replacement product. :(

Thanks for the info. I'm not confident enough to strip a gun yet, but it's helpful to see the innards!

Going to give Mossberg a call tomorrow, but just wondered if anyone knew it off the top of their head. :D

With that vid you really are pretty good to go... I am also able to phone and walk thru it as well making it quite painless.

Wow, great customer service from Mossberg. I just called, explained this gun was bought second hand and what I needed. No hesitation, the customer service rep asked for my address and is sending a bolt to me free of charge!

Kudos to Mossberg!
