Speaking of the SAR-1

Where would you find parts for one?

I need a bolt, bolt carrier and gas piston for mine.

Also, how to go about making sure you get the right ones before placing your order....

The piston bolt, and bolt carrier from the WASR-10 will fit into an SAR-1. Like I said I know they will fit in, but I have never actually tried firing it with WASR-10 parts. On the other hand...the bolt, bolt carrier, and piston from the SAR-1 is to large to fit into a WASR-10.

Check with a smith who builds AK's. You'll have to check headspace with the new bolt.

I though a SAR-1 was built form Romanian parts in the U.S. then had U.S. Made compliance parts put in it to amke it 922 compliant?
