Spas-12

Gentleman,
I picked up a spas-12 in a package deal a few years ago. Ive never had the urge or need to shoot it so I'm thinking of selling it. Its in good shape, 80% I'd say and I have the original paperwork. I've read that there are 4 things that determine partial value and I'll list them.
1- An extention magazine tube + It has one
2- A forward front sight + Yes
3- A hook on the folding stock + Yes (supposedly they fall off easily)
4- A lever type safety vs a button type - sorry to say it has a lever type.
But it also has a second safety on the left of the trigger guard.
So can any of you shotgun gurus give me an estimated value? I cant post a picture and I know a sight unseen estimate is rough but I'm just curious. Is this one of those rarities that should be just put away? I appreciate any input, Thanks
Ken

PS It seems what part of the country you come from has something to do with price. I'm from NY. Suffolk county to be exact. Thanks again

From What I personally have seen on them for sale,900-1200+ brand new.
I'd estimate you should be able to get 800$ maybe a good chunk more,
Also remember that a gun is only worth what someone will pay for it.

I had one of these and sold it in the late 90's in the $600 range. I picked up a winchester 12ga. marine mag instead. Something I could actually use.
I recommend if you like it, keep it. A unique bad ass gun.

I've seen 95%-100% SPAS-12s (two of them) up here for $900-$1000 recently. These are folders with the hook, quite often they lose their hooks as I've seen in the past.
