Hi, brand new to the forum, and ive just recently taken up shooting sporting clays. Ive mostly shot semi's and a pump a few times, but what i really want is a reasonably priced over under. I was reading a gun mag the other day and they raved about the remington (i think) spartanworks 310 as a great all around gun and it sells for like 550. Any expereince with these? Look for a nicer used over/under? I am prob not going to spend more than 8 or 900 total, would lovet to get out for 550 on the spartan if its a decent gun. any input?

It's a Russian made Baikal. They have been imported through various companies since the wall fell. They are solid reliable guns that are not fancy nor sophisticated. They would make a superb entry level O/U. Make sure it has interchangeable chokes.

Buy it, shoot it, keep it as a backup/foul weather gun when you finally decide to buy a Perazzi. :D
