Spartan SPR453 the "same" as 1100/1187 design?

Ok, so Remington has their everyman version of the auto in the Spartan SPR453™ Autoloader. Is this a plain jane version of the 1187/1100 design? if so, I changed my mind about the Stoeger 2000 combo...

Disregard this post, you cannot change the barrel on the Spartan models according to the Remginton website...
 
The spartan guns are manufactured in Russia by Baikal Arms. They are supposed to be of good quality, but just plain jane. I haven't spoken to anyone who has had a problem with one yet, but I have no personal experience with them. So, no they are not the 1100/11-87.
