405 gr JSP at about 1,900 fps fired from 18" Marlin Guide Gun into a Spartan Armor Systems level III+ plate. Clay measures back face deformation. Feel free to make predictions before watching the test. Factors to consider are:
Low velocity (relatively)
High mass
This round did not penetrate level III and IV ceramic plates, but caused substantial back face deformation, which would likely have still been fatal.

And if you do survive, you'll surely know you got hit by something.

I've got a Winchester 94 Timber Carbine in .450, favorite gun to carry, least favorite to shoot. Great video.

The force of the impact leaves the possibility of popping one or both lungs, as well a the chance of a cardiac tamponade it is an internal bruise of the heart, and the sack of the heat fills with blood as a result it makes the heart strangle itself. I have treated a police academy cadet for it once. He decided to let a friend shoot him while wearing the vest. I had to run a needle into his heart to drain off the excess blood.

Did you see the back face deformation from the ceramic plates I tested with the same round? Not saying you're wrong, but soft armor tends to have a lot of back face deformation while this plate had none.
