Just wanted to post some pictures of a MAB .32cal pistol that i refinished.

I refinished the slide and a few other pieces.

MAB's are French. MAB = Manufacture d'Armes Automatiques Bayonne.

Except for those like the one pictured in the OP which were made in Spain.
I have one nearly identical, but chambered in 6.35mm (25acp)

ORIGIN – SPAIN
CALIBER – .32 ACP
WEIGHT – 16 OZ.
OVERALL LENGTH – 6.13″
LENGTH OF MAGAZINE – 3.5″
Probably made by Echave, Arizmendi y Cia in the post WW II period. Though the MAB name appears on the grips and slide, this is a simple blowback operated pistol similar to, but not an exact copy of the French MAB.

Yes, the Echasas were made in Spain. Right across the border from Bayonne, France. These were contract guns for MAB.

"Fast" was another trademark used by Echasa. For some reason, Franco let Echasa continue to operate after he assumed power.

You polished the hard anodizing off the feed ramp! Now it's bare aluminum!
The feed ramp had nothing to do with your misfeeds, BTW. That's a magazine problem.
Your grip screws are dragging on the magazine-that's why it's hard to insert/remove.
