.....as in Uberti SAA.

This is my Uberti SAA Clone. Stainless steel, 5.5 inch barrel, 45 Colt.

Very slick gun, with a really crisp trigger. I'm very impressed with the overall quality. This stainless version appears to be even better made than the blued ones, which are very nice guns. No goofy transfer bar safety.

It is a real nice copy of a SAA.

"click, click, click, click"

I'd be proud of that too!

I bought a Uberti .45LC with the Bird's Head grip about 2 months ago. It ain't stainless like yours, but their case-hardened finish has a nice look too. I'm pleased with the quality as well, and that click x 4 is a sweet sound indeed.

I still enjoy my Blackhawk .45 convertible for shooting 250-grainers with 11-12 gr Unique. I limit my Uberti to 8.5.

Darn, I was hoping you'd talk about ole Clint. I love those "sp'getti" westerns.

Nice looking guns........punk! Make my day..........opps that wasn't a western.

It is virtually the same gun as the Beretta Stampede, except the Beretta has the addtion of a transfer bar safety.

These go for around $425, the Beretta's are around $475. I'll stick with tradition, no transfer bar, and less money!

Snub , looks nice , hows the poa? do the ubertis have the flat (colt like )springs verses the coil springs like the rugers? can you safely carry 6 rounds in the cylinder or only 5 ? just wanted to know, never owned one , but they sure look nice!

Its a pretty darned accurate copy of a Colt Single Action Army.

It is NOT safe to carry six. The hammer must be put down on an empty chamber for it to be carried safely, just like the old days.

Flat leaf springs just like the Colt. Most, if not all parts will interchange with a Colt.

I have not fired it yet, but will do so this weekend.

The trigger break is the best I've ever felt on ANY SAA clone. Absolutely free of any creep, and breaks at what feels like 3.5 pounds.

Yes very, very nice gun! Hey Bullrock - Hang Em's a great flick, but you would happen to pick the one (closest to the others) that isn't a Spaghetti! Ha Made in Estados Unido I believe. You notice ol' Clint's not as gruff, rough around the edges or nasty as he is in the "trilogy." Speaking of, Snub a set of those silver coiled rattlesnakes on the grips would look mighty fine on your new gun!

Clarify full 6 shot capabilty or no?

"It is NOT safe to carry six. The hammer must be put down on an empty chamber for it to be carried safely, just like the old days."

Could someone clarify this? In a recent thread re the Italian made import SAA clones, it was said that ALL models entering the US (from wherever) have to have some designed-in feature that doesn't permit the unintentional firing if dropped..and that the ones even without the transfer bars (such as Beretta has) have something...and it was said they do have a mechanism or feature--...So (judging from that thread/post) it would appear you could now use a full 6? True or no?

This gun has the most ingenius way of satisfying the "safety" requirement.

The cylinder base pin has an extra "notch" in it. It can be pushed in to that extra notch, making it stick through to where the hammer does not fall far enough to ignite a primer. It adds nothing to the gun itself, and can be used to render the gun unfirable if desired. Otherwise, leave it in the "normal" notch and forget about it.

It doesn't alter the action in any way, and its so simple, it's brilliant. The Safety Police are happy, and a great design remains intact.
