Sp101 holster advice

New to the Forum and Revolvers. Recently purchased a Ruger Sp101 .357 3".

Would like opinions on which holster would be best for a cross draw? Something which rides higher up on my belt so its more under my arm area. This would be for CC.

Any suggestions appreciated

Thanks

Here is a guy that can advise you. He is making a Kahr holster for me and has made a P7M8 IWB. Very good work.

I have been discussing a holster for my wife's M66 and he has been a great resource. I also plan on a future SP-101 holster and Matt has already informed me that he has the gun in shop, so I don't need to send the gun. Email him and tell him what you are looking for.

Here is my choice for SP carry. Its an IWB holster and when new its tight just like any other molded holster. Great height for carry..tucks the grip right into your rib cage...comfortably.
Its a Don Hume....715 and this holster will work for a 3" also....
I use it for cross draw and 4.00 Oclock strong side all of the time.
They do make cross draw only if you like that....
Try this out...youll like it. The prices are low enough some you think are a misprint....

For my SP101 (2 1/4") I use a Mitch Rosen "Workman". Very comfortable and usable for my particular needs. Mitch Rosen also offers a crossdraw (I'm considering one for another pistol).
I've purchsed a few different pieces from Mitch's shop and the quality of each has been top notch. It may cost a bit more than some other leather gear, but you get what you pay for! Check the site @ www.mitchrosen.com or call them if you have any specific questions. They're very helpful people.
