SP101 357/9MM Convertible ?

What would have to be done to an SP101 to be able to convert it from 357 Mag to 9mm and back again?
In theory, the diameters are the same, so the same barrel would work or would it? If I can order a 9mm cylinder from Ruger, the swap would be a snap! You can have both....its just a teardown away. What are your thoughts on this one? Has anyone done this before and how did it work?

Any good smith could do it. As you most likely know, ruger offers that combination in a blackhawk convertible.

The only difference would be 9mm accuracy would most likely suffer slightly due to looser tolerances in the barrel.
