Sp 101 Holster

Greetings folks, A few months ago I got my CCW lic., Yesterday I got my Ruger Sp 101 2&1/4" .357 w/spurless hammer. I was wanting to hear from those who carry a spurless snubbie, as to what holster they find that really works well for them in that gun. Thanks in advance for all your advice.

My 2.25" SP101 is not a spurless model, so I doubt my OWB holster would work for you. However, my IWB holster should work just fine. It is a Texas Heritage by Tucker Gunleather. I had one for my SIG P228, and liked it so much I ordered another for the Ruger.

This holster is easily concealable under a tucked shirt. It is adjustable for both cant and height, so you can get it in that "just right" spot. It is also quite comfortable. I carried the P228 in it daily throughout the summer, 15-16 hours/day. Highly recommended.

My SP-101 also is not spurless. I carry it in a Milt Sparks PMK belt holster. Keeps it snug and high for a quick draw and good concealability under an untucked shirt or jacket.
