South Florida 100+ yards shooting range ???

I'm from Hollywood Florida and I'm looking for a 100+ yards shooting range somewhere in the south WPB area, broward or north miami area. I want to shoot my rifles and I can't indoor.

Note: Markham Park is only 100 yrds.
 
South Florida has a great shooting range 8 miles off shore. Get in your boat and start tossing devices which will float, back off 300 yards and instant shooting range. Just make sure there are no other vessels behind the target.

There is a reason I specifically said "Eight Miles." You are in International Waters and the Coast Guard has no authority to arrest you if you are not putting lives in danger such as pirating other boats.

Many moons ago, we used to go out for multiple day fishing trips and use our AR-15's to our hearts content, shooting at "stuff" in the water. We scanned the horizon with our Bino's to make sure no marine or human life was within the range of our rifles. The thing you must do when doing this is to keep one person busy spotting for other boats and the occasional dolphin or sea turtle that will swim by. Safety must be exercised and good judgement practiced. Still, it is a great place to shoot.
 
I've lived in S florida for 10 years and found only two ranges more than 100 yds. One is as noted previously the sheriffs range west of Palm Beach. The other is on the west side of Florida, just north of Fort Myers. It's a public range with a 200 yd rifle range. Other than that, there is nothing.
I am a member of the Hollywood shooting club. a 100 yd range for .22 rf rifles and almost all pistols on Stirling rd. Yes in the urban blight there is a range probably not more than a mile or two from your home. http://www.hrpclub.com/ is their website. They have a few rules to get along with their neighbors but a great place to shoot without much of the hassle (and expense) of a public range.

Okeechobee Shooting Sports

I know this post is old but you all really need to check this place out. They have a 500yd shoot 3 times a month and they allow .50 cal on certain days. Its gotta be the best place to shoot in south florida. If you can find some place better i would love to hear about it!
