South African PMP Ammunition

Dillon’s has South African PMP ammunition on sale. The price appears competitive, but I know nothing about PMP. Any experiences or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've used about 2000rds of their 115gr 9mm ball with absolutely no problems. Does seem a bit dirty though.

Dillon's prices are WAY too high on this stuff. You can get the 9mm for $110 shipped to door and the .223 for $159 shipped. I ordered form this place: http://www.gfccarmex.com/

I'd pick Fiocchi or S&B over PMP. Moderate muzzle flash and sparks, seemed underloaded.
(I am talking about 9x19 only. Further, surplus Denel in brown boxes is a little hotter than commercial PMP in blue boxes)

I have used a case of PMP in my Colt AR-15. Love the stuff. Shot some matches, everyone was having ammo problems except me. It works absolutely great, I reccommend it highly.

I have used 3 boxes of PMP 9mm in my Kel-Tec P-11. It works great and appears to be high quality ammo. At this time I think it is the best range ammo in 9mm available, and very inexpensive(about $110/case delivered). I have tried 7 or 8 other brands, but so-far like PMP most.

Maybe I got a bad box but I tried some at my local indoor range. The flash would have lit up Carlsbad Caverans at midnight. Accuracy OK but nothing to speak about and was it ever dirty.

I agree that their .303/.308/.223 are great. It is just the 9x19 that I wasn't impressed with. However, some US brands like American Eagle 124gr have an even bigger flash.

it's good ammo i have used 120 rounds of the .223 in my Colt AR-15. and i have used 100 rounds of the 9mm in my PC9 Carbine and i used 200 rounds of the 9mm in my Walther P99 but it had jaming problems so now i only fire CCI 9mm TMJ in it. but it is good ammo
