Source on Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk2?

Did some research and it seems like the No4 Mk2 is the one that is peaking my interest. Now, where to find them, and at what cost? I have read that there are some out there that are assembled, new from parts.

I'm not certain, but I think Springfield Sporters has some No.4 MKII's. I have seen several at my local gun stores, priced from 300 to 400 dollars. These are "new" in the mummy-wrap specimens. I think Shotgun News may have some leads for you, if you haven't checked already. These appear to be excellent guns, the last evolutionary step of the British bolt-action service rifles. I just haven't been able to justify the expense. No.4 MKI*'s are available near me for much less (125-150 bucks) and are almost as good. Then again, sometimes "almost" just won't do. Good luck! I'm sure someone will come along soon with more helpful info.

I'm currently looking for a No1 MkIII, so I'm kinda in the same boat. I found a few websites, and most of them had no4s as well...

Never bought from any of them, so I can't advise how reputable they are. When I find some more, I'll post here as well.

A really good source for Enfields is East-West Military, Inc. in Fraser, MI. It is owned by Tom DuBay. He stocks over 200 Enfields of all types and is very fair on price. Call him at (810) 415-8962 and he will send you a current price list.

Prof,

Do you know if he has a web page?

Heed the man that owns only one rifle,
he likely knows how to use it.

is the source of my five Enfields, paid from $110-225, depending on condition. My $110. has a perfect bore, just a little scuffed on the wood.
Dennis Kroh who runs it is very knowledgeable, and the service from them is outstanding, I've bought some 20 guns from him and have never been disappointed. He is currently on a historical tour of Russia and Finland, but will be back next week, his site will be updated then.

The moderator "antiUSSA" at www.ar15.com has one still in the wrap with bayonet for $400.
He only has one because I bought the other one.
