I love carbines, yet i also have never met one that was quiet, and i treasure my hearing. is there a barrel attachment short of a supressor that can direct the sound of the muzzel blast away from the shooters ears? I can only theorize the only thing close to it would be the flash hiders that the brittish had mounted on the end of their jungle carbines, kind of blunderbussish in design, like flairs for the barrel.
