Sound comparo, .223 and .308

I'm planning on another suppressor soon and my question is this.

Is there much of a sound difference shooting .223 through a 30 cal suppressor vs. a .223 suppressor?

Several people tell me to get the 30cal and use it for both and several people tell me its best to get dedicated cans. FWIW the .223s are my ARs and I'm planning a .308 bolt gun. Obviously I'd rather get one suppressor but I mainly shoot .223, in fact I dont even own a .308 yet. I wanted to get the paper work done and get the gun while I wait.

Thanks
Steve

Here's a video I made of my two 30 cal suppressors on a 308 and a 223. FWIW, my dealer has several suppressors and he's of the opinion that if going 30 cal and 223 it's best to just buy a 30 cal can and use it on both and I agree. My 30 cal can is quieter on the 5.56 than his dedicated 5.56 can is, but his Surefire 556 is not in the video. Just my opinion, but I'm very happy with my 308 suppressor on my 5.56 rifles and you couldn't go wrong doing it that way. You can always buy another can in the future, but it makes alot of sense to get the most flexible/versatile one first.

Thanks RyeDaddy, thats what I was kinda hoping for. I cant watch the video at work so I'll check it out tonight.

As a left handed shooter I can not stand the ejection port craptastic blast in the face with a low volume .223 shooter. I accept the weight and size of the 30 silencer.
