Sorta early 10-22

I have a Ruger 10-22 that I bought new many years ago. Serial number is in 35,000 range. Does anyone think that is a "collector" piece or would you go ahead and fix it up with trick stuff that doesn't alter it? The trigger is excellent and it has figured walnut. And I would not consider modifying the stock.

If you don't modify the receiver, you can always put it back the way it is now. New (non-threaded) barrel and stock require no mods. Get a Volquartsen Trigger Guard 2000 complete new trigger assembly ($120 right now in their bargain bin) and you're done. Oh, and a bipod and scope.
