Sort them from favorite to least preferred

Out of these top rated handguns, which models would make your top five list (#1 being the best 9mm)? Let’s see how you rate them:

CZ 75D PCR
CZ P-01
Beretta 92 Compact
Glock 19 Gen 5
Sig Sauer m11-a1

This. But all 5 are very, very, good. Disclaimer: I have no personal experience with the CZ P-01 and I'm assuming the Glock 19 Gen 5 is as good as Gen 3.

Beretta 92 Compact
Sig Sauer m11-a1
Glock 19 Gen 5
CZ 75D PCR
CZ P-01

1. Browning Hi-Power
(...)
6. The above list.

(For anyone that can't read between the lines: None of the above would make my top 5.)

1. Browning Hi-Power

Doesn't a high power only hold 13 rounds? A bit substandard nowadays. And I've found that most steel frame guns are less reliable than polymer frame ones, just my experience. High powers are nice guns, but they're collectables, and you can buy two polymer guns for the price you're going to pay for a "new" high power (not that they make them anymore)

For what it’s worth, it was a list of compacts, so a Hi-Power doesn't fit the discussion. My ranking ....

1. CZ 75D PCR (own one, love it, but I still don’t like the narrow slide)
1A. CZ P-01 (redundant, because it's a PCR with a rail; I think the steel-frame Compact with safety would have been a better option)
3. SIG M11-A1 (like it in every way but cost)
4. Glock 19 (the standard bearer, but I just don’t shoot it well)
5. Beretta 92 Compact (I like full-size 92s a lot, but the Compact is large for its class)

.

in my personal opinion / preference, of the ones listed:

1. CZ 75D PCR (more specifically for me the standard -75B)
2. CZ P-01
3. Beretta 92 Compact
4. (VERY distant) Glock 19 Gen 5 - Glocks in general just don't agree with my feel wise, much as I respect them.

Sig Sauer m11-a1: no opinion, I've never fired one.

So I'd throw in the HiPower at 1.5. And to be honest, my S&W SD9VE would insert just under that (call it 1.75) - IMHO - hey, it feels pretty good in my hadn and the trigger is actually decent.

As for HiPower reliability, my FEG has been flawless. And as for it holding only 13 rounds - flush fit, excellent quality 15 rounders are offered by Mec-Gar. And if you need more than 15 or even 13, you would probably be in better need of air support :p . No, my only complaint with the HP is that usually out of the box, the trigger absolutely sucks! ;):D

Hey wizz, your sense of humor might be broke

Nothing funny about a person incessantly promoting their favorite pistol instead of answering op's question.

Thank you also ruga booga for not adding anything of value to this thread :D

Top rated handguns? They don't even make my radar.

As far as high-cap... yep, Browning HiPower... I'd take it every day against the others and twice on Sunday.

If I had to pick from the OP list... I'd take the CZ75, then the Glock 19...

I wouldn't use a Beretta 92 for anything but a boat anchor.

Glock 19 only.

Not a fan of traditional DAs. Much harder to shoot well.

Beretta and then SIG have a slight edge over the CZs, of those listed. I think Beretta is top quality, and you can’t argue with classic SIG either. Steel CZ 75s are close though

I own the CZ P-01 and the Sig M11-A1 and these are 2 of my favorites. I’d include a good 9mm 1911 like my STI Trojan, and a CZ 75B like mine. And I’d also include my Browning Hi Power.

I see the Beretta is at the bottom of most's lists.

Top rated for carry:

Glock 19
PCR
P01
Beretta
Sig

Top rated for owning/shooting:
PCR
P01
Glock 19
Beretta
Sig

I like the 19 more for carry, as it's lighter and holds 15 rounds. It's utilitarian and feels like a tool. I like the PCR and P01 more for owning/shooting because they're metal and have souls. And they just feel great in the hand.

"Incessantly"...?
Now you're just being a troll.
Find five other references to my posts to back that claim up.
It's not going to happen.

Aside from that... It's my opinion.
If you wish to argue with my opinion, you will get nowhere.
The listed "compacts" are not worth my time.
And not being worth my time is very much my opinion on the list....

Glock 19 gen 5
CZ 75D PCR
CZ P-01
Beretta 92 Compact
Sig Sauer m11-a1

Meh....none are of much interest..
