Did you ever have one of those days? I cut short a vacation due to a project that I'm coordinating at work. Only to go in today to find out the project was put on hold due to construction delays.
Next, I forgot that today is my secretary's birthday (BIIIIIIGGG MISTAKE). Almost as bad as missing the Mrs.'s birthday.
I spent half the day in debates with the bliss ninnies who were trying to convince me to vote for Blockhead Gore. (They were just crawling out of the woodwork today)
Then I get a call from my "fincial advisor" to tell me the institution that I work for will no longer allow deductions for the 403B fund that I'm in. The one that has been paying a steady 28 1/2% annual return...every year for the past five years....yeah that one. And that I need to pick another.
Then while rushing to my evening class (got out of the office late, busy swearing and cursing the Benefits Manager about the 403B changes), I got stuck in a traffic jam.... Don't you hate that feeling when you walk in to a room full of people late and ecveryone just stares at you?
Well, just as I was dragging my sorry beat up rear into the house....I see them! Two boxes on the kitchen table. I ask the Mrs. are those for me? "Yes" What are they? "I dunno, but they are heavy." I go up to the boxes and look, YES! It has the stamp of the "CMP" on them! I tear open the first box....5000 rounds of Reminton High Velocity .22 Long Rifle ammo!!! I turn my attention to the next box....Yes, 280 round of 30.06 on clips! And 560 rounds of Lake City Match 30.06!
Boy, these folks sure know how to cheer a guy up! I also get a real perverse pleasure from knowing that I am buying guns and ammo from the most anti-gun president in history!!!
The Civilian Marksmanship Program is the coolest thing since the invention of sliced bread!
