Something Smells!!!

The NIC's check is down, I can't get into the AR forum, Glock Talk is down, the .22 forum is MIA, and I just went to the AK forums and, while I can get the site, the posts won't open. I just saw an interview of a MMM anti on Fox News, who said that she is also a Washington insider, and she stated that "nothing" in Washington happens by accident, everything is planned including the NIC's shutdown.

Disgusted,
Will

Oh, yeah, there's a "software glitch" in D.C..

It's been there for eight decades (more, in some government bureaus), and a distressingly small amount of Americans are properly perturbed by it.

I can't get into any of the websites listed except for ak-47.net and I posted this topic. They are hacking us off the damn web. These gungrabbers will stop at nothing.

I wonder if it's the same glitch that accidentally prevented Clinton's e-mail to/from Lewinsky from being catalogued and produced pursuant to subpoena.

Thirty,
Good observation.
They must think we're dumba$$es.
I'm 49, and I've never seen ANYTHING like this. (Not even during the Watergate scandle.)

I really don't understand the NICS thing. I worked for a large computer company (a really large computer company) for 30 years and I know that large systems will go down on occasion. But after half a day of down time for our large customers, we filled the skies with wingtips and white shirts until it was fixed. Several days downtime now is unheard of with the advent of RAID, multiple processors, etc., etc. To paraphrase what Marcellus said, "something is rotten in the District of Columbia."

Wretched scum. This makes me so mad. Clinton is probably doing this on purpose to make some sort of statement during the million mom thing. What a dirt bag.

Gee, Imagine that  Million Mindless March in Klintonians Kapital and NCIC is down for the weekend  Klinton really wants to leave a legacy behind along with the Stained Blue DNA laden Dress
What a bunch of maroons  really really p***es me off  When is the crapola going to end? All our hard earned tax dollars at work to screw us over
Time for a blood pressure pill :(

The computers are down because a new catologing (ie registration) program is being uploaded.
Monday morning Clinton will announce mandatory registration via NCIS approval by executive order.

Never had to get an NICS check due to having a CCW permit. Oh, well!

Opussxx,
I wouldn't be surprised if he tried a little "legacy building" like that. I hope that there are those in government who have the imagination and fortitude to put a stop to something like that.

Dakotan,
My wife and I both have Kentucky carry licenses, however we still have to deal with NICS. There is a bill on the Gov's desk right now which would allow a CCW license holder to buy a gun without going through NICS. I hope he signs it. We're making a little progress here though. The license time just went from three years to five years, with no increase in cost.

Safe shooting,
Will

It will all pass. Whatever gun wasn't bought this weekend will be bought next week. Maybe it was taken down for a statistical purpose.

Looks like MMM = Less gun sales.

When in fact MMM = More gun sales the week after.

...or, if all major gunsites are disabled it will be harder for us to get the message out about the counter protests.

I wish so hard that SAS and support outnumbers MMM.
How would the media spin that?

Yeah, something smells alright its called Bill Klinton

If I see or hear one single story about how the NICS being down for 3+ days saved over 50 lives, I think I'll puke.

50? you're missing some zeros man. No less than 5000 fer sure.

can't get there now!

WLM.
I too am in the Bluegrass state but in the Ashland area. I have heard nothing about the bill concerning the NICS being on Pattons desk. Could you give me the bill number or a link? I checked the Ky Coalition to Carry Concealed and the bills they have listed mention nothing to do with NICS. Thanks.
