Something is really wrong with me!

I went back up to Sportsman's Warehouse tonight and Bought the Uberti 1858 Remington. Good lord I think I have a condition! The price wasn't bad at all after my military discount. Nice pistol no doubt. I love the things and have never fired not one ball. But the way I see it is if I absolutely hate shooting them (which I don't forsee that happening) I will hang em on the wall.

I do plan to get one of those presses and a few extra cylinders too. The problem with this thing is every time I buy one I see another one I want. THEN when I open the box to the new Uberti, you know whats laying on top? A folded poster containing ALL the Repro's they make........AND I LIKE EM ALL :D

Yeah...That is pretty much right

I started back into shooting about four years ago after having sold off a previous accumulation to placate my thankfully ex-wife.

My new wife, who had never been exposed to a person with a BP shooting habit asked me (upon the purchase of my tenth revolver) how many pistols I thought I might need. I did not know how to answer the question and I did not know how to explain why I did not know how to answer the question.

I am up to forty shooting revolvers plus three which are on the bench. I still look for specimens I don't have three of. I still look for deals I can't pass up.

And I am subject (as I think we all are) to the "DTAPP" syndrome. Under the DTAPP syndrome if you are looking at a million photos of a given revolver model, (1860 Colt for example) when you see the million and first photo, you still say "Dang, Thats A Purdy Pistol"

If you think this addiction is bad now, wait until you get the smell of black powder in your nostrils. You will never be the same. The devil that is black powder will wrap it's wings aroung you and take you to it's breast. Oh the humanity!:D
