Reloading to 'Save Money' is an oxymoron.
You reload to have hyper accurate rounds, which you were paying $1 each or more for,
Or you reload in VOLUME to make the press/hardware pay for itself.
You can make headway pretty quickly when you are making rounds that would normally cost you more than $1 each, and you are cranking them out at 30¢ or 35¢ each,
And you know EXACTLY what they will do, what quality they are is one of those 'Priceless' things...
But reloading for 'Savings' when you could be shooting crap ammo at 25¢ each will take you 100 years to pay for the press/accessories...
I get that all the time,
"Can you crank me out some 'Cheap' ammo to 'Plink' with?"
The answer is always "NO!",
My time is worth more than I can get for 'Cheap' ammo.
If they want ACCURATE ammo to practice and hunt with,
That's one thing,
But there is no way I can keep up with the surplus ammo prices,
Buying bullets, Primers, Trying to find a reasonable powder, Paying shipping, ect.
There is no way I can spend my time and crank out rounds for 20¢ to 30¢ on the surplus market.
