Some surprises in looking for some gunsmithing

I have a new Bisley Vaquero, that I want to have some work done on. It shoots a bit to the left, trigger is gritty, and the cylinder throats are undersized.
I called, wrote, and emailed a lot of gunsmiths about this. The biggest surprise was how reasonable the 'big names' are, and how willing they are to take the small customer's business. I actually thought that a small one man shop would wind up doing the work, but I am looking at one of the best know names in the field now. He answered my email the same day, and followed up with a personal call. His prices are very reasonable, his estimated time for completion good, and he discussed at length with me (on his nickle) what I would be using the gun for, what load I preferred, what mods he thought were neccessary, and explained that some I wanted to do were not needed.
Kinda reminds me of back in highschool, when so many guys were too shy to ask that really pretty girl to the Prom, not realizing that pretty girls like to dance too.
