The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported the following statistics from 1998 the last year for complete data.
157,129 Ladder related injuries
98,707 Saw (hand and power) injuries
42,426 Hammer related injuries
10,031 Self inflicted Screwdriver injuries
Also to note:
597,000 Bicycle related injuries
And get this 438,000 were treated for Bed related accidents
And to think they have the nerve to say Guns are dangerous
I think we all better get hold of our elected employees and see what can be done about these dangerous items
