some concerns

i sent my GSG-5 SD in to the ATI factory for some repairs all repairs were free and the customer service rep "chris" was pleasant until i mentioned through email that it cost me $136 to ship my rifle overnite "mandatory if sent through fedex" to him for repairs and i explained that it was a bit much to pay for shipping for repairs that were basically malfunctions in the rifle.
but i bit the proverbial bullet. but since his responce of nothing mentioning the cost of shipping and the 1 week turn around time i have not received any responces from him in reguards to my rifle. i have sent a couple emails requesting a confirmation on arrival of the rifle for repairs and a request for a heads up email when it is in route back to me about a week after i sent the rifle out ( i received no responce) then i sent another email 2 weeks after intially sending the rifle asking for a update do to the fact it's been twice as long as stated on turn around time and that i have not received any kind of responce to my emails after i shipped the rifle out .
Am i being overly concerned, being the military im all about acountibility and right now i feel i have a rifle unaccounted for, and a little concerned that i have not recieved any kind of correspondence for the company i sent my rifle to.

It's a little late now but there are much less expensive shipping options for shipping a rifle, such as UPS and USPS.

i recieved a reply that my rifle repairs were complete and is heading to the range i was not told any new return time and again short and with attitude were his responces,
it's a fun little rifle but im getting irritated with it's performance as of late and so far the customer service has been lacking, all the repairs that need to be done i found out are fairly commen with this rifle and it's not like it's a new model or anything so the repairs should be business as usuall... ehh what do you do, my bad for not doing as much research on a rifle that i normaly do

all right so it is now december 8th and i have still not recieved my rifle or any kind of communication from "chris" the customer service rep at ATI that i have been working with. any suggestions or advice on what i should do next, my last correspondence with "chris" was Nov 17

Meh, ATI... Keep in mind that they are strictly an importer. All their stuff is from "over there". I wonder how many 'smiths they have on hand for the number of arms they distribute. You can try going over Chris' head, but I wonder if your gun is coming back on some container ship.

BTW, yes, I have dealt with Chris. Yes, I have had ATI firearms. Nice enough guy but I think he can only do so much if what I say is true. Have you called the guy?

@precision shooter- i'll try that

@Onward Allusion- i have spoken with him on the phone when i first contacted ATI about the issues with my rifle then it's been mostly emails back and forth i have tried a couple times to get him on the phone but was unable too and no return phone call. chris was a nice enough guy until i asked him to help out with the shipping costs "the problems were malfunction's" but he would not a made no effort to do anything about it and ever since i asked it's one word or rude emails if i can even get a responce at all
