Solution for Guns in England

How's about have all the guns in the country sent here. Then we put up a big fence around the whole country and send all the crooks over there. Maybe Australia wants to send em some crooks too! :D

Very amusing.

How about doing something to help those fighting stupid British gun laws instead?

How are we supposed to help them fight stupid British gun laws when we are too busy fighting stupid American gun laws? :)

Actually, jeffer, that's an interesting idea. We sent firearms to England during WWII to save their butts from the Germans. The least they can do is send 'em back, with interest! And, Great Britain dumped all their criminals in Australia, the least Aussies could do is to reciprocate. :D

Sigh, I suppose it was meant to be funny but when you've been fighting ignorance for so long your sense of humour is one of the first things to go. After all united we stand, divided we fall.

Greetings Lone Ranger:

Sorry about some of these bloody yanks over here. But a few of them are still pissed at the Crowns last visit in the early 1800s, you know that little fire we had in DC, think it was the White House. Well, why don't you come over and pay our head anti-gun slicker a likewise visit. There will be a tailgate party after you are done.

This verbal belching is really all yankee hoorawing. Don't take us too serious, we feel for you guys over there that are under the boot soles of you eletist leaders.

Cheers, Jim :D

Say there Lone Ranger. I made a finger punch boo- boo on that comment "under the boot soles of [YOU] eletist leaders." That typo should have read [your eletist leaders]
terribly sorry. I'm thinking about changing my handle to TYPO. Wish I could blame it on the keyboard as my keying is not good.

Jim ;)

What is the latest information on the Court action being taken about The Bill of Rights?
Didn't someone try to have it tested in a European Court?
What about the Conservatives---do they support the gun ban laws?
Have you thought about emigration?

The group taking the European Action is Justice for Shooters, they have a web site at:
http://home.rednet.co.uk/homepages/markg/index.html

JFS have the antis really worried, they were whinging about JFS at the recent Home Affairs Select Committe hearings.

The NPA Fighting Fund seems to have died a death. There is a group called SAFE and the Bill of Rights Appreciation society but I don't know the current state of play with their case. Last thing I heard was they were tackling the 1920 Act as unconstitutional. It's difficult to see how they will succeed, politicians claim the Parliament Act means that Parliament cannot bind its successors - which is what the Bill of Rights does. Also, unlike the US, there is no court that can declare legislation as unconstitutional.

And yes if JFS lose, I will join the brain drain and emigrate. Texas here I come.

Hey there Lone Ranger,

You've got a great site, BTW.

We can always use good people; I'd hope you'd have no problems moving to the USA.

Ever read "Scloppetaria?" It's a Napoleonic War era book exhorting Britons to choose rifle shooting as a national past-time. Great technical engravings, solid pro-RKBA arguments in that great early 19th Century style English.

This post was meant as humor. Didn’t mean to offend the many good people of England. If we aren't careful we will be in the same boat.

Sure would like to see the Lone Ranger when he trys on his first pair of Texas boots and Stetson. Spurs kinky and optional. So is a cattle prod. YEWHAW!
