Sold the TRP

I have invested a good deal of money into the this pistol... turns out I invested 150 too much.
I sent it out to get the Bobtail conversion done to it. The conversion was done very well with flawless workmanship. No complaints there.
Problem was the gun no longer "felt" right in my hand. The profile was easier to hide... but the way the grip met my palm was all wrong. Fellow I know here is SLC, LEO, took it off my hands for a right price.
I dont think I would suggest the Bobtail conversion until you have examined a gun that has had that convertion done to it. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the bobtail review George. Its a slick looking mod but, unfortunately, one that you have to pay to see and handle. So, whatcha going buy now?

Sorry, whish I had seen that you were going to have that done I would have warned you. I got to hold a Kimber that had the bobtail conversion done to it and I did not like the way it felt either. I could see how it might be an advantage for ccw but I think it would take quite a bit of getting used to.

Talk about the greatest pistol ever made.

George:

Thanks for the caution, I was seriously interested myself.

On the lighter side, does this mean you've got the scratch now to go buy that copy of Diablo II? :D
