What is the best soft gun case? Just got my S&W M&P 15-22 and need a soft gun case for it. What do you guys think is a good one for the price?

I have the black Midway branded case and have been pleased with it-good quality, good price, has velcro pockets for magazines, think I paid around $30 as I recall

Only ones I have are a Bob Allen Intercept case and a couple of Boyt Intercept shotgun cases I use for a pair of Winchester 1892s (the 42" Boyt "shotgun" case fits them much better than any "rifle" case I've seen).

I like them - good heavy gauge outer skin, decent padding, good sewing/piping around the seems and nice heavy gauge zippers. Easy enough to find on optics planet.com and amazon.com

I'm partial to the intercept cases as I also use them for handgun storage cases and they've been great for blued guns where I used to have minor rust problems on occasion - never seen any on the stuff kept in the intercept lined cases.

I bought the cheap one from Bass Pro shops. It was like $8 on sale. It's fantastic so far. Had it about 3 years. It doesn't live a hard life though.. under the bed to the back of the car, to sit on the ground while I shoot and then back to car and under bed. No pockets on the outside, although I can put my rifle and Harris bipod in it at the same time. That's a good thing.
