I'd do a little research before carrying SOB. If you fall and land on your back a serious injury could result. Like being paralyized.

I've got that Mitch Rosen holster for mine, I really prefer the Don Hume JIT made for that sized pistol. But I don't use it as a SOB holster, rather a right hip carry. And the Hume holster is about half the cost.

Just personal opinion, but if you are going to cc sob/iwb then why are you limiting yourself to a 380cal. pistol?

The LC9 is not too much larger than the LCP and it offers the much better 9MM round..

I carry my LCP daily, but in a rear pocket holster... It just sits back there, completely concealed, and can be easily accessed if needed, certainly easier than you could access your cc choice from a sob/iwb holster.

I have my wallet in one back pocket, my LCP in the other. If a bad guy confronts me I can offer him my choice..

I can hand him my wallet, or I can point my LCP at him if I think he/she might have more in mind than just robbing me..

And I decide that, not the bad guy..

MY CHOICE...:D

Back pocket carry.

MY CHOICE.... :D

Carry 24/7:

I only shoot from 7 yards or less, (my personal self defense range), and I'm almost 69 years old with shaky hands, but the 2nd mag I fired thru the LC9 the group in the middle of the X ring of the target could have been covered by a 50c piece..

Between my wife and myself we have three LCP's and I have the one LC9, and ALL of them are surprisingly accurate at that distance.. The LCP's basically have no external sights, but I had my carry LCP upgraded with the Innovative Arms External sights and it shoots poa/poi at 7 yards every time..

Previously my carry 9MM was my excellent (and pricey) HK P2000sk and I'm sure further out it will outshine the LC9 as to accuracy, but at 7 yards the LC9 will stay with it all day long..

I like the LC9 so well I carry it now in an iwb (when I carry a 9.. Normally I just carry my LCP w/external sights & CT Laser) and the sk resides in the gun safe.

I love my H&K and I wouldn't sell it, but truthfully the LC9 is easier to cc in an iwb because it's smaller, thinner, and lighter..

My friend also has an LC9 (he got his first and let me shoot it.. That's why I wound up with mine) and it too is amazingly accurate at 7 yards.

I love the LC9.. Absolutely reliable, more than self defense accurate..:D

Best Wishes,

Jesse

Really don't want the LC9, its about the same size as a G26 just not as thick, and less rounds. LCP is the gun that fits like anywhere.

9MM:

Don't blame you, I carry my LCP 99% of the time, but there are situations when I'm going out of my personal "comfort zone" and I think carrying a larger caliber firearm (in addition to my LCP) might not be a bad idea.

THOSE are the times when I appreciate the size/caliber of the LC9.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I did not INTEND to buy another 9MM pistol.. I already have plenty, but after shooting my friends new LC9 I thought "one more 9MM in the house can't hurt"..

By the way, I was a previous owner of a couple of Glock 26's and just didn't care for the grip ergonomics nor the ever-lite Glock trigger.. Not to say they aren't excellent pistols, and beloved by multitudes, I just personally never warmed up to those I had, and in fact sold them and replaced them with a Sig P239.

The Sig was nice, but I replaced that with a Walther P99c/AS, and it was very nice, but I replaced IT with a Walther PPS, which was a POS, and I replaced IT with my P2000sk..

Which in turn has been replaced for cc by the...

Da Da..

Wait for it.....

Ruger LC9.. :D

(I still have the sk)

It seems my favorite firearm is the last one I bought.. I'm fickle, what can I say?

Best Wishes,

jesse

Fonegear is the answer!!!

Believe it or not, a $9.00 Fonegear (brandname) cell phone case with a fold over velcro flap, makes a great LCP holster. I clip on my belt & carry under t- shirt with no handgun print. Looks like a cell phone, Crimson Trace laser and all.
