I think of the Draft potential out there for SCOTUS and it is not that exciting at least from the prime herd members.
Do you really think that half a dozen truly constitutional scholar types are even in the political running? I don't.
If we would get our dream team it would necessarily come from the Minors. And favors are not payed that way in the big city.
The good guys won't be rejected. They won't even be called up.
This election is not about hope for a future. It is about sandbags in a flood of loss.
We will lose less with Bush. We will gain nothing.
I dream of a government draught.

The little devil on my shoulder isn't so sure Spotted Al would be a bad thing. Look at it this way, the main difference between Republicans & Democrats is that the Republicans sell us out more slowly. With Al in office the slippery slope becomes a rather steep cliff. He's too greedy and too bold to hold off on getting the guns away from us. This, so says the devil on my shoulder, would be put up or shut up time on our part, especially considering the certain UN involvement to follow.
So- shock the masses with door#1 or take a chance on fighting back with door#2? My devil likes 1 but I'm sticking with 2, at least this year.
