So whats going on with north korea today?

i read on cnn that they succsfully launched at least two short range missles, and there long range (i cant spell it so ill just call it the t2) missle exploded in flight. i heard that they do have another. is this true? i still think it is a bluff for the us to strike first and make it look justified to the rest of the world.(like anyone likes north kora........ maybe iran) will sombody enlighten me on this subject.

this may not seem firearm related, but it is due to the fact that if we do have to go to war (at this time seems highly unlikly) alot of yong men will have to be using one.

NBC News announced a few hours ago that N. Korea launched six missles in all, including one of the long range ones that's creating the fuss. The long range missle apparently flew all of 35 seconds before crashing in the Sea of Japan.

Given the state of N. Korea's technology, I think they'd have better luck if they made 'em out of bamboo :D .
 
N. Korea fired six missiles ( 1 long range missile also.).
Japan is the one that is really upset about all of this since they were closer to them.
The U.S. is sticking by Japan because they are our allies.
The U.S. will not fire any missiles until N.Korea does in fact fire a missile that will hit U.S. soil or if it hits Japan then the U.S. will respond with a mass missile attack agianst N. Korea then China will side with N. Korea and fire it's missiles at the U.S.
Then all the Communist countries will join together and try to invade what is left of the U.S. and have to fight for every inch of land because we the free people of America will not give it away for free.
We have fought for this wonderful country and we will do it agian if we must.

Nothing much..........just Red China's junkyard dog making a bit of noise. They haven't let him off his chain yet.
 
I am reading the newspaper now and it says that they may have launched up to 10 missiles but its not confirmed. The long range Taipodong-2, is one nasty sounding weapon. They have the specs for it listed.

height:115ft
width:4.5 to 6.9ft
warhead:1,650 to 1,870 punds of nuclear, biological,chemical or high explosive
range:3,720 to 9,320 miles

That could easily reach US mainland.

Actually it's spelt "TypeO'Dong". Wich directly translates to "kind of wiener".

On a serious note I would have been a lot more comfortable with going to Iraq if they had done this type o dung.
 
Even if they do get it to work thats why we moved Patriot missiles to Japans coast. According to MSN. They wont get anywhere near a target.
 
I work in a Patriot battery. I'm sorry but as far as the Patriots go, we might take down some of the tactical short range missiles. But uhm...wording...I highly doubt we would have success with the strategic long range ones Pac 3 is designed for Theater Balistic Missiles. It's just not very easy to shoot down a missile with a missile designed to shoot down planes. We got lucky with the scuds. Actually we didn't even destroy most of the ones we got lucky with, they were just pushed off course into the desert. Uhm...wording...I highly doubt we would be able to intercept a strategic missile on launch, even if it were possible with the Patriot system, which I'm saying it isn't. And even if it could intercept on re-entry, I doubt there would happen to be any Patriot units standing by in the area, unless he shoots at Ft. Bliss.

This guy is a maniac. He really wants to continue the war with the south and us (remember that war never ended). The north has a million man army and a lot of heavy equipment a lot of submarines and aircraft. And thanks to our other ventures around the world we've cut our troops in ROK to about half (15,000 give or take) and now we're broke. We simply can't afford another war.
 
i say it was a good enuff target on the ground. but like you said theres no way we could afford another war at this time. but the canadians can:D

While Billy Bob Clintoon was in office he sent Jimmy Joe Cahrtuah, to pay off Littledong Beloved leader he gave NK $3 billion USD per year to not build missiles and Nukes. Littledong continued to make nuclear weapons and missiles anyway in secret. W. came into office and said talk to the Chinese/ Hand we ain't payin you $3 Billion a year so you can ignore our agreement.

Jimmy Joe was very upset W. was cutting the bribe the NK was using to buy military hardware, Congac and Blond Hoes, instead of food and fuel for the poor.

Now the Glorious/.Dear leader needs some new Porno Hoes to handle his Little Dong, and so he is haveing a tantrum to get us to start paying him $3 billion in annual tribute again.

Shootin off the missiles is a good thing, it lets us know the LongDONg does not work, and it uses up his stores of expensive missiles, so he wont have as many to use against the south or japan.

With W. in office littledong dear leader will not get any more bribes, and his more powerfull neighbors Russia and China will be forced to sit on him, which is onlyy fair since he is their GOLEM.
 
The North Koreans have moved several more missiles to their launching pads. The UN is having an emergency meeying of the Security Council. Japan has proposed samctions. Russia is resistting.
 
I respectfully submit that China won't be going to war over whatever happens between us and N. Korea. China's not as idiologically-motivated as they were a couple of decades ago. China's not about to give up their trade relationship with the U.S. over some half-baked little pissant like Il Young Zero.
