So uh... anyone good at recognizing scat?

I'm going to go ahead and apologize for ever having to ask anyone this question. That said, I ran across this while walking behind my parents' old house last fall. It came across as odd to me due mostly to its size mixed with its contents which look to be primarily berries. Does anyone have any idea what animal might have left this behind? I spent the first 20 years of my life on this farm but never saw anything like it before.

Raccoon, or maybe possum.

There are certainly plenty of those in that area, but I had just assumed that they were too small to leave that much. I guess I should never underestimate the power of eating a large amount of fiber.

Racoon for a fact. I've seen enough of it around my place to know where it came from. If the pile was about ten times bigger I'd guess bear. I've got lots of them around too.
