The Mayor of Toronto has put up a Youtube video espousing his beliefs, yet the comments section has been disabled. I wonder why?

Think you folks could head over there, take a peek and maybe let Youtube know how you feel with the flag option?

I don't live in Canada so my opinion is just that of a gun nut from the U.S. Though I was thinking, how about the officials piggy back legislation on the proposed ban (don't know if it works that way in Canada) which says that ALL government officials will not have any arms in their vicinity. Either on their person, or in the possession of the security detail which may accompany them. How confident will he feel about his proposed ban then?

Why are you guys wasting your energy sending e-mails to the a mayor in CANADA about his proposal? I can understand people up there (like the OP), but people in the United States? Isn't that a little extreme? Let the Canadians worry about it. We've got our own problems....
 
Ditto. Here in the US we're concerned about a socialist-type being elected as POTUS. In Canada, they ARE socialist. We know this, no sense in fighting it.
