So It Finally Happened

My Permit to purchase came in the mail. So I went out and got my first revolver. I got what I found to be a good deal. 350 for a 686-6 plus with a short barrel. I got to take it out and shoot it today and It was more than I could have hoped. I was keeping 5 inch groups from about 10 yards away. I'll keep practicing w/ my new gun. I have a couple of questions though. Where can I find a holster for it? Probably IWB/OWB or shoulder harness for it...one that will hold it securely and that I won't have to worry about. And then What can I get as far as speed loaders. It seems like an HKS one wouldn't fit between the grips and the cylinder but maybe I'm wrong, how about moon clips, do they make them for the 7 shot spacing? Any knowledge would be great. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

Yes HKS does make a 7 shot speedloader. It's a little more awkward to work with then a six shot. Galco makes holsters for revolvers and their prices are pretty reasonable. I usually buy my through Arizona Gunrunners, but you can buy directly from the company. There are fancier holstermakers, many who make hosters on order. But the prices reflect this.

Minnesota requires a FOID? That's pretty surprising. Is it for handguns only, or for all guns/ammo like in good ol' Illinois?
